This is another shot of my small series “The night life of mannequins”.
As most of us know Christmas approaches and people buy and sell all sorts of things. In this shot I tried to put across the feeling of inexpensiveness and emptiness of the modern consumer world. What I mean by this, is that everything is nice and flashy, but lacks substance. This shot is full of warm colored ornaments, a nicely dressed model and reasonable lighting, but all these things are made from emotionless plastic. I would really love to hear what you people think about this shot? |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
